No; e-Products are non-returnable and we are unable to refund these products once you have received them.
LifeTek offers two different types of CPR courses, BLS CPR and First Aid CPR/AED.
BLS CPR: This course is the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support course for healthcare providers (doctors, nurses, CNAs, nursing students, ect.). This course does not include first aid. Participants who pass the hands on skills and written exam will receive an AHA BLS eCard good for 2 years.
First Aid CPR/AED: This course is an America Red Cross First Aid CPR/AED course that is geared towards the general public. Everyone is welcome to take this course. Participants who pass this course by participating in the hands on skills and discussions will receive an ARC First Aid CPR/AED eCard. There is no written test.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a classroom course, please contact our office as soon as possible. Notification of cancellation or reschedule can be directed to 855-GIVE-CPR or learn@lifetekinc.com. We do have a Cancelation and Reschedule Policy for classroom courses which is listed below, online courses and skills sessions are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

CANCELLING – Requesting a refund.
Yes, the AHA offers 3 part online blended learning courses. Part 1, the online portion, can be completed at anytime and anywhere with internet access. Parts 2 and 3, the hands on skills practice and testing, have to be completed with a certified AHA instructor. We offer skills sessions once a month at our Mount Vernon Location.
These courses are NOT eligible for a refund. Failed courses/sessions are non-refundable. Skills sessions can be rescheduled with 15 day notice with no fee. 14 days or less the above rescheduling fees will apply.
Yes, all products must be in original packaging, and in excellent/unused condition. Products will be refunded minus a 15% restocking fee. Shipping fees will not be refunded.
Any products, books or tuition unclaimed within 30 days of scheduled class will become property of LifeTek/CCG.
Only the student registered for the course will be allowed entrance. No pets or children. Special accommodations/requests need to be made PRIOR to the course during business hours.
Classes will start promptly; Arriving after the start time of your scheduled class is considered a cancellation and will not be eligible for refund.
Yes. The AHA requires each student to have access to a student provider manual before, during and after the course. You can purchase the manuals at time of registration, online by clicking “Products” above or at our main office in Mount Vernon.
The AHA pre course assessment can be found at www.heart.org/eccstudent. BEFORE THE COURSE, it is required to review and understand the information in your ACLS/PALS Provider Manual and successfully complete the self-assessment modules on the above website with a passing score of 70. You will need to enter in the password found in your Provider Manual on page ii. You will be required to turn in the scores from your completed self-assessment. More information can be found in your student manual.
No Refunds will be offered once a course has been scheduled, only rescheduling.
Yes. To order a replacement card please click on “Products” above.
To register for a course, click the course you need above to see the list of available dates. Select the date you want and follow the prompts.
The AHA now offers online eCards! Electronic course cards are viewable online, and offer a valid alternative to printed course cards. Can be presented to employers as proof of successful completion of an AHA course, and employers can verify the eCard online. May be printed, if needed. Once you have been assigned an eCard (within 1-2 business days of the course), you will receive an e-mail notification with a link to claim your AHA eCard online. eCards can be viewed/printed online for 2 yrs.
No. If a class is showing full, the class location is at max capacity.
In rare occasions, classes could be canceled due to weather, instructor illness or low enrollment. If that does happen, LifeTek waives all rescheduling fees.
