Your Training Fund has partnered with LifeTek to provide discounted courses for common certifications that are now covered by your Plan of Benefits. As your Training Fund, we are excited to offer you this opportunity!

Do you have Professional Development benefits?

Eligible Training Fund members can utilize their professional development benefit, up to $300/year (depending on FTE), to pay for training at LifeTek Inc. This benefit is offered to Service, Professional, or Technical bargaining unit members. If you have questions about eligibility or other benefits you may qualify for, here is a link to our eligibility page.

The Training Fund will pay for the cost of the course upfront from your professional development funds, if you are eligible and haven’t used all of the funds already. *

Follow these steps to register for courses and access your benefits:

• Select a course from the list of eligible LifeTek courses listed below.
• If you are an RN, or utilized your full professional development funding, use the promo code SEIU15 to receive your SEIU Healthcare 1199NW Training Fund 15% discount.
• If you want your Professional Development benefit to cover the cost of a course, fill out the Reimbursement Request Form. Once you are deemed eligible, you will receive a promo code for a free course! Please give us 5 business days to confirm your eligibility.

CANCELLATION: Notification of a cancellation must be made at least 72 business hours prior to a class start date and time. Depending on the course, a fee will be charged for cancellations made in less than 72 business hours. You will be personally responsible for the cancellation fee, not the Training Fund. Notification must be called in to 360-416-8239.

*Currently, we can only cover the costs of the course, and not the supplemental materials offered through LifeTek. If your professional development funds don’t cover the full cost you will be responsible to LifeTek for the remaining balance.
